Nominet is the top level domain authority for UK domain names and one of the world’s largest internet registries, with a portfolio of over 9,000,000 domain names. Nominet operates at the heart of eCommerce in the UK with highly respected industry credentials, 130 staff and an annual turnover of £25m.


This membership marks a continued move to become more independent as a hosting provider, and allows us to be responsible for our own .uk domain names. UK Domain names now registered with or being transferred to NuBlue will show the custom NUBLUE tag. It also gives us much more control over our extensive .uk domain portfolio as we can update WHOIS information and change registration information for our clients much more efficiently.

As a Nominet registrar, NuBlue is now in the process of retagging our UK domain portfolio. Due to the quantity of domains we support we plan to do this over a matter of months to ensure it is managed properly with zero disruption to our clients.
