Northrop will co-hosts the third annual William Malcolm Man of Style And Substance Scholarship Contest www.WilliamMalcolmManOfStyleAndSubstance.com Selection Gala on November 18th  with fashion designer and the scholarship founder William Malcolm.

Ms. Northrop a successful entrepreneur founded Scarlet Communications to provide consult in the areas of Etiquette and Employee Engagement. She strategically works to create training solutions and employee engagement opportunities that will further the growth of organizations and arm youth, employees and executives with the skills to foster positive and productive business and personal lifestyles. Jacqueline has worked in various professional roles providing strategic training guidance and consult to several organizations including AT&T, Ford Motor Company, AAA and Chrysler.

In addition to Jacqueline’s professional obligations, she is also an active member of the International Society of Performance Improvement, the Public Relations Society of America, The Detroit Parade Company and the Karmanos Cancer Institute Volunteer Board.

On November 18th 2011  twenty-three (23) high school senior young men that were selected of over 130 entrants based on their responses to several questions ranging from community service involvement, favorite Michigan based sports team and their idea of what constitutes chivalry towards women will compete in a live oratorical contest inside of the Banquet Facility at  Michigan First Credit Union; to be selected as the winner of the 2011 William Malcolm Man Of Style And Substance high school Scholarship Contest.

The young men have participated in several events throughout the Man Of Style And Substance Scholarship  Contest.  They all attended Style And Substance Scholarship Weekend (October 28th-30th). Highlights of which were a private meet and great event at Beans & Cornbread Restaurant, a full day scholarship conference at Marygrove College were they received instruction from successful men on various topics that included: financial literacy, chivalry, educational success, business etiquette and social responsibility. The  successfully closed with a fellowship service at Family Victory Fellowship Church.
