When the issue isn’t handled with the sensitivity it requires, all three groups are affected. Professional outplacement agencies ensure that the impact is minimal.

If the issue isn’t managed with the respect and dignity it deserves, the consequences can be extremely damaging for everyone. Employers end up facing inconsequential legal battles, employees end up depressed and those who remain lose focus and start honing up their CV’s. The outplacement agency can also help him with soft skills like negotiating, besides supporting the employee in writing a career marketing strategy. A good hand holding policy ensures that the employee does not find himself on the wrong side of employee search companies.
